Hello, welcome to my site.

This is my story.

On 22nd January 1992 whilst working as an estate agent in the Great Barr area of Birmingham, UK I was showing a 'prospective buyer' around a house in Turnberry Road.  Unknown to me, this simple part of my day to day work would now horrifically change the rest of my life forever.

My 'client', it transpired, wasn't interested in buying the property at all; he was the murderer, kidnapper and extortionist Michael Sams who suddenly attacked me with knives in the bathroom of the unoccupied house.  I was overpowered, bound, gagged and led from the house blindfolded and bleeding.  Sams drove me to his workshop in Newark, Nottinghamshire where he held me for 8 days in a coffin sealed inside a wheelie bin whilst he negotiated a ransom of £175,000 from my employers. 

During my imprisonment I was viciously raped, tortured and threatened with electrocution.  It is only due to my ability to build a rapport with my kidnapper and the bravery of my boss, Kevin Watts, who delivered the ransom money that I am here today to tell my story.

I've been intending to put together a web site for quite a while now, having been asked on numerous occasions by police officers, victims of crime and other members of the criminal justice system to provide 'something to click on' with regard to my story.

Thankfully this site is now here, but only due to the sincere kindness, ideas and endless talent of a young man called Dom.
